This course helps students to gain an understanding of basic economic models and economic analysis.

The topics covered provide a broad overview of an economy. The skills and understandings gained are relevant both to future employment or study in tertiary courses.

This course covers introduction to Calculus at NCEA Level 3 covering topics in differentiation and integration of polynomials, log and exponential functions, trig functions, parametrics, etc. Followed by conic sections, complex numbers and trig equations, time allowing. There is flexibility in topics covered depending on students' need or request.

The aims of Year 12 History are to help you to develop an understanding of the importance of History by studying some of the major trends and developments in the world. So why do we teach History?

This course helps students to gain an understanding of basic economic models and economic analysis.

The topics covered provide a broad overview of an economy. The skills and understandings gained are relevant both to future employment or study in university or polytechnic courses.

This course focuses on developing student's understanding of the economic issues that result from market forces. These issues are; inflation, international trade and economic growth. How government economic policies impact on these issues will also be considered along with an internal study on the use of statistical data in relation to these issues.

The interpretation of historical evidence, examination of forces and movements that have influenced major events in history and the study of the experiences of groups and individuals in history as well as an opportunity to engage in research and produce material which captures the tone, layout and language of pamphlets of the time.
